Artist’s Satement

I have artistic inclinations with towards the native identity of my country, because in it I discover the beauty of the human being, in his innocence and his life. Since the beginnings of my artistic career, I have tried to look for a way to represent my feelings, and it is in this way that I’ve always tried to adjust to the environment where I live and where I grew up, as a person and as an artist.

The pastel or pink in my work is a comfortable background where I can better paint the dark colors of the Bolivian skin, and the surrounding lines or brushstrokes, as they are generally called, are my signature, which I try to represent in special places in the work; these lines create a unique feeling giving a value to the work that leaves no room for reproductions, which in many countries has given me such credibility as an artist.
